Isla Tortuga

This full day trip to Isla Tortuga (Turtle Island) in the Gulf of Nicoya is one of the most popular tours in Costa Rica. You are welcomed on board with refreshments and a seemingly endless supply of tropical fruit is served, as you sail through the scenic Gulf of Nicoya, and then to where blue green waters lap the white sand beach of Tortuga. Disembark for a day of relaxation, swinmming and beach volleyball. Sit down to a gourmet picnic buffet served under swaying palm trees, before the mid-afternoon return to port.
Items to bring: Swimsuit and towel, sunblock, walking shoes, beach sandals, camera, hat and good humor.

Sea Kayaking

Your guide will also take you to the perfect spot for snorkeling, where you will quickly be surrounded by a wide variety of tropical fish. This is truly a tour for the whole family.

Rafting
Length of tour: Full day

What to bring: Shoes that can get wet, sunblock, strap for sunglasses, swimsuit and towel, set of dry clothes to change into after rafting
After a short trip by air conditioned mini van you are taken up river to start your adventure of 18 miles of pure fun and unsurpassed beauty. A trip of full contact with nature, with exposure to exuberant vegetation and the white water rapids. At the half way point a lunch is served after which the journey continues.
You have the choice between 2 rivers:
- Naranjo River: operates only from May to November. Difficulty II - III
- Savegre River: operates all year long. Difficulty IV.

Canopy
Length of tour: half day (different locations)

This exciting tour can be considered a thrill of lifetime as you traverse the tropical primary forest on a system of cables and platforms. Using very safe equipment and in the hands of experienced guides, you climb to the top for a birds eye view and then experience the exhilaration as you rapidly glide between each platform.
What to bring: Cool comfortable clothes, walking shoes, camera, hat and sun block.

Crocodile Adventure & Birdwatching

Close to the Carara Biological Reserve we find the Tarcoles River, home to a wide variety of birds and crocodiles. A trip down stream will show you the Guacalillo Mongroves, nesting place for the Scarlett Macaw and on both sides of the river bank you will see numerous species of birds such as: Pelicans, Opreys, Frigates, Trogons, etc. Very spectacular are the Crocodiles, some measuring up to 23 feet long. Take pictures of your guide hand feeding one of those enormous creatures. A very educational tour for the whole family.
